Good news! My desktop has been repaired and I've recovered a lot of my art work! Bad News: I lost all my programs and I only have 30 days of Photoshop CS6 before the trial expires, I have a back up of CS5 I've been playing with but I don't know if I can get it to work SO in the mean time I'm gonna use that time and post what I can / finish up some old work most of it is personal stuff so if that's something you've been wanting to see more of from me you're in luck!
I drew this last year for Fathers day, colored it and was already to post but then my computer fried. So it's been sitting in hard drive limbo for quite awhile but this is Ripper and her Father Mabuz Grimm. Mabuz is a District Attorney for the underworld who primarily writes up contracts, when you're "making a deal with death" it usually has to go though him first. But his passion is prosecution.
In his younger days he was a champion roller derby skater and Captain of the Red Rum Rollers it was here he met Euripides who was there doing a photo shoot with the leagues sponsor it was attraction at first sight and love for the next century after. After they had Ripper he hung up his skates for a more stable life but his love of the sport lives on in her. Ripper gets along with and relates the most to him, in fact if she wasn't so stoked to be a grim reaper she would probably follow in his foot steps, only she wouldn't stop at district attorney she would want to be a judge or a supreme court justice. (she still might, when you've got an eternity you can pick up a second trade).
About the art: I had a blast designing Rippers dad and her parents in general. Normally when I make kids I have their parents designs to work from but with Ripper she came first so I kinda had to reverse engineer where her genetics came from and I'm pretty pleased with the result. and just so no one hurts them self trying to read what's on his desk it's the text from here. please note that I am not responsible if you do, in fact sell your soul.
Some of his influences include but are not limited too Robin Harris, Monstroso, Quadzilla & Deals with the Devil. I have also updated Mama Grimms info to include her influences.

Oh look at them! So cute!! I really love seeing Ripper with her dad and how happy she looks, especially when you compare how she acts around her mom.
