Ever After High: Twinkle

Some of you may remember Twinkle one of my first Ever After High OCs. I'm not super pumped for EAH like I am Monster High, but I liked it enough to create a few characters which I'll probably post about sporadically.

Twinkle is the Daughter of Queen Star, One of the queens from the story The Three Delicate Wives of King Virtue-Banner. Twinkle is the Middle child of 9 siblings and as a result she wants nothing more than to stand out which has lead her down "the wrong path" She doesn't want to go down in history as "a delicate wife" she instead wants to rule her kingdom with an iron fist and be wicked. Twinkles theme song is I want to be evil by Eartha Kitt. However Twinkle is much more subtle in her plans for domination than most of my antagonists. The general student population doesn't know Twinkle is a bad egg and she uses this to her advantage, putting on the front of a kind and caring individual while inwardly wishing malice upon them. She is very much like Darla Dimple or Baby Doll (who inspired Twinkles curls) in the sense she gives off such an air of preciousness no one would ever suspect her of doing any wrong. The only types of students Twinkle shows her true colors too are flaky or dishonest themselves so no one would believe them anyways. Chaos ensues.

Much like her story, Twinkle is physically very sensitive. She cannot go outside at night because the moons rays will burn her which is tragic for her because she ironically loves astronomy. She does sign the story book of legends but she has no plans of actually following her stories path, where this goes has yet to be determined. I classify Twinkle as a Royal because she's of Royal heritage despite the fact she has no plans of following whats written for her story, but what EAH actually classifies Royals and Rebels as is kind of muddy depending on whose story it is anyways. Twinkles art got done first because she is my favorite of the bunch, I do so love a threat that nobody sees coming.

About the art itself, "You know what’s a good idea? ringlets!" - said nobody ever. I drew this sometime early last year and If I recall correctly it was a chore and a half, I spent so much time perfecting the Monster High style (unsuccessfully I may add) that trying to mimic the softness of Ever After High proved to be a task, more so the detail that goes into it. When my computer took it's last electronic breath I thought I had lost this piece, but as luck would have it I recently found the flash drive I had this work stored on, I used it for a school project. Which is fortunate because my blood, sweat and tears went into this work and I do hope it shows.

Does anything make you shout oh curses?: Being harmed by the moons rays really puts a kink in my plans. All the best evil scheming happens at night!
