Happy Father's day! to celebrate have Gail's father. His name is Hlér

Lot's of people ask me "Why isn't Gail's father in her life? is he a deadbeat!?" Nothing is further from the truth. He loves his little princess, he just does not have custody of her. He's a roadie for a deep sea death metal band and he tours with them constantly, It's not that he doesn't love Gail or want to be a part of her life, his lifestyle is just erratic and both him and Gail's mom agreed the best thing for Gail was stability. But you better believe during the off season he comes to visit his baby girl.

He's a regular party animal, happy go lucky kind of guy, nothing really bothers him, He is the polar opposite to Gail's uptight Mom. how they ever hooked up long enough to have a child is anyone guess. And even though Him and Gail's mother are no longer together he still very much Loves Nessadra and makes sure to tell her so every chance he gets. It doesn't show here since I drew him by himself but he's a pretty short dude. He's about a head shorter than Gail and a foot and a half shorter than Gail's Mom. But that's how he likes it, low to the ground and sturdy, perfect for hauling amps and stage equipment and shit.

But you guys will hear more about him later, He's gonna become very important in Gail's life very soon, Gail's not a little girl anymore and for the first time in her life he's going to give her something her mother never did- a choice, to come on the road and tour with him for the summer or to stay home with the family. *dun dun DUN*

As for this on an artistic level, I had to look up so much reference to be able to pull him off. first off- my specialty lies with chubby ladies, when i get to men I kind of hit a grey area. I've drawn chubby dudes before. ( some of you may remember Lennox my fatass vampire ) but never quite this big, Gail's dad is a TANK. and he was quite a challenge. I hope I did him justice.
