what is this blasphemy that your drawing.

well I shall tell you it's fan art of a show that was SO politically incorrect it was canceled before it ever aired. The show was called Popetown it was canceled becuase it pokes fun at religion. I saw the first few episodes on youtube and it was a really bitching show! but sadly - it was so aweosme youtube deleted it twice.

but the fond memory of it still remains! no network wanted to pick up it becuase they thought it would be offensive. but I think it's fun to play with the clergy. this was an awesome show .

p.s. Father Nicholas and Sister Marie are totally hitting it on the side. oh yea thats right- I slashed it.

love is my pain given by the hands of uncertainty.
hatred is only a false promise full of more heartache than anything.
I think I heard of that show, too.

You did nice work on this piece!
yeah stuff that's "blasphemous" like a cartoon shows dosen't stand much of a chance....although South Park can get away with it..but i guess that's because the entire show isn't focused on religion like this show seemed to be.

its too bad it can't be showed anywhere....

but anyways nice fanart!

It aired on a few 'rebellious" film festivals but I don't think it's ever been aired in the US.

but yea the entire show was based on misinterpreting catholicism. but even south park has issues when it comes to religion, that why the guy who played chefs voice quit the show, becuase they started making fun of Scientology. he had NO PROBLEM picking on the catholics ofr Muslims or the jews or anyone but when they got to Scientology he quit, talk about a hypocrite.

But after all this I can rest awhile
And then I’ll party, party"
:lmao: Love it - if you like this sort of clergy-based humour, you will love the Irish show "Father Ted" - it has a bizarre charm, and a fun, quirky sense of humour! [link]

Never heard of that show, but it sounds like it might be up my alley. Too bad so many religious people have no sense of humor.
