Body Snatchers

Another one of those things I drew with the purpose of illustrating a point rather than trying to make it a masterpiece.

I believe people take body type variation for granted when it comes to characters in art or the media, SO MANY TIMES have I seen thicker characters get slimmed down to have a perfect body when they don't. The reason for this? “I didn't notice they were supposed to be thick 8(" that’s just one example I could reel off more, but I got somewhere to be.

A characters body says a lot about them, I somehow doubt superman would have been half as successful if he was scrawny or fat since he was an alien, his powers did not come from his build they came from his being. So in theory they could have given him any build they wanted.

SO I got to thinking: how would you guys see my characters if they had different bodies?
