A New Beginningby =Candy2021

Ahh it feels good to have Sonya back up and running, I have so much art to catch up on! thanks to everyone for being so patient with me during this time!

Anywho for those of you who didn't get the memo on Tumblr, Ox's former girlfriend left him (long story) and while he was crushed and heart broken the one who was there to pick up the pieces was his best friend Yurei. Who has been hiding a crush for him for eons (also a long story) But after about a month and a half of emotional turmoil they are together at last. And Yurei made the jump from best friend to girlfriend (short story)

and this is my super late contribution to the Charity Ball that was almost a month ago. Ox and Yurei all decked out in their formal attire! I hope I did Yurei justice! I had NO idea what he feet looked like so I gave her some platforms to go with Ox's hope that's cool.

Anyways i had a LOT of fun designing Ox's outfit. I think I missed his cyber goth style mark and skidded right into psycho-billy territory, which is cool with me because he looks damn good.

Man, Ox looks fabulous in that outfit! I really hope you'll draw him in this kind of fashion more often! I am seriously loving that hairstyle on him, too. It's so great, and somehow formal, in my opinion! His girlfriend is really gorgeous, and I love that they have their own colour themes going on! I've really enjoyed these charity ball pieces! Your designs are always eye-pleasing, but I definitely have a big soft spot for your formal designs!

This is one of the things I love about MH fan characters. Where else can you get such crazy pairings? Like a toxic mutant and a Japanese ghost girl? Or a cyclops and a lion boy? Or heck any of the other crazy combinations.

I'm lovin' Ox's hair in this. And that suit looks great on him even if it is straying from his cyber goth style.

Does Ox look a little more mature? maybe that's my imagination! But it suits him!

Nope! He has went and gone all monogamous on us all.

He hates that he can't be a slut anymore but he loves Yurei so it's a win and lose.
